Default flp level 4 first ride

put the trans in friday night. only put about 200 miles on it so far but i love it! shifts great! only thing wierd i noticed was that i can really tell when the converter locks up now. hardly noticed it with the stock trans but now it feels like it shifts when the converter locks. anybody know whats up? btw, this is still the stock converter.

Mine does the same thing. If you come down today I will take you for a ride and we can make sure that that is what it is. For all of you that are wondering what we are talking about I will try to explain. When you get a transgo shift kit, there are some springs in there for the torque converter. you wont use these unless you are rebuilding the trans. They are harder than the stock springs and I believe that they enguage the torque converter harder and faster, just like the kit firming up the shifts. I can feel mine lockup when just cruising around and I hit about 48 mph. , and when Ive got it floored and I let off just a little and it shifts into overdrive. It feels exactly like it is shifting into another gear when this happens. I dont know much about transmissions and I could very well be wrong but it is my best guess at what it is.

i am having a problem with mine.it feels like it falls on its face when i shift. i have been told it can be tqm diong it,the abuse table causing it, and a plastic bushing in the accumulater housing causing it.

Boooo to TqMgt, I hate that crap. You talkin about the plastic POS 1-2 piston in the 1-2 accumulator? If so, when I had my TransGo installed I had an aluminum one installed.
