You should be able to run 93 octane w/ the 9# pulley. Looks like your custom bracket proved itself w/ zero belt slip. Let's see what it can do w/ more boost.

I dunno bout the gas but I run 114 in it all the time just to be safe. I really dont think it will slip with the small pulley on it. What causes belt slip or chunking belts is one of 2 reason, loose belt and belt slip. I eliminated that by a manual tensioner and brackets that DO NOT move, and put a Reichard Racing pulley on it. I think that will keep everything on track and working properly

Man its been killing me looking at these wheels for this long, but I have to wait for my friend to get a day off so we can swap the Mcgaughys spindles so the wheels will clear - should be this coming weekend or the next.

Cool well hurry up I am anxious to see what I am missing out on. Guys this was only at 5700 RPM, spinning the blower with this pulley at 58000 RPM if taken around 7000 RPM on a blower that the max is 68000 RPM. So the blower is hardly working to make 560 RWHP. Plus thats only 22 degrees of timing, when on a race tune there will probably been 28-30 degrees. There is soooo much more power to be made.
