Default First Dyno #s

So I went to a 03-04 Cobra dyno day in my truck just to watch and hang with some friends. Well they talked me into getting on the dyno. I only made one pull and it didnt pick up torque so I only got HP. I just wanted to check air fuel and everything so it wasnt that hard of a pull, it was a VERY safe and conservative tune and only 22 degrees of timing. It made 560 at 9 lbs of boost. ZERO belt slip. It made 9.1 #s the whole pull.

That funny... Horespower is just a calculation of torque x rpm. Dynos measure torque and then calulate HP. must have been a display glitch in the computer. Nice number though.

And this is all through a loose *** 5500 stall. With the smaller pulley on that is over spinning the blower by 2000 RPM and adding some timing then i hope to make somewhere close to 800 RWHP. I will not be taking it to the track till the 9" is complete and we install it. The truck bas been down 6 months so I am going to just enjoy it and then take it to the track when i know everything will hold up. I dont wana go to the track and break the rear end and then it be down another 2 months or so.

haha yea, its a Neal Chance converter so they set it at max torque. They build race converters not street/strip converters so they didnt care, but i will be sending it back to get it tightened.

I will probably pull it out when its in the shop for the 9" that way its only down once instead of twice. I will probably tighten it to a 4000-4400, not too sure though we will see what Marty from Neal Chance says.
