Default Finally installing LSXRT

So i am finally gonna install the FAST 102 intake and tb. I checked the surface to make sure that it was going to be flush with the heads and this is what it it looks like let me know if I should be worried or will the gaskets seal it up? Thans in advance. Also the injectors where flow tested at 43.5 psi and they all where 25lb/hr, I thought the 8.1 non-marine injectors flowed at 32lb/hr. Also what psi should I set the fpr on the fuel rails for the setup.

It should seal up I thought mine wasn't goin to but it did.

The guy that does my tuning for me is having a nightmare of a time getting my truck to idle with the intake so get ready to drivability issues I think it's cause of the TB being to big on my setup.

Talk with FAST and the guy recomeneded to take the upper shell off, torque the lower shell and then reinstall the upper shell with the proper torque sequence. Since the actual gap is minimal but with the heat cycle and proper torque sequence I think it should be fine.

Our trucks run at 58 PSI which is why the injectors came through smaller on that flow test.

I hope you have good luck with the intake. It should make a pretty big power difference for you.

Thanks man, thats what I was hoping for. The only thing sucks is when I get the heads pnp I have to take off the intake. Wish I had the time to get it done, but the baby could possibly come early and the truck apart now due to some issues with the vent tube.

awesome, I'm anxious to hear your results. I'm still considering one...

What TB did you go with, the fast 102?

Yeah I went with the fast 102. Man the steam vent lines are being a pita, well the back ones at least. But still having a good time working on the ole Cheby, lol. The an fittings are opposite from the fronts, where in the from the T can go on the pass side but in the rear it's gonna have to go on the Dr side. Here's a pic of how it sits now.

I had to wait a week cuz the shipping of the steam vent blocks took so long. But oh we'll, I have to go to work now.
