Default Another 4.8

So basically i want a bit.more out of my 4.8. I been reading and what not and i think i found what im gonna do. Basically my wife took the truck cause she likes it bettter than her cat so i dont want it to be a speed demon but have more ***** then it does and be streetable. Im thinking a isky triple 12, blackbear tube, 2800 stall, airraid jr intake tube. And possible the ls intale and throttle body. Any opinions on this setup?

you have to have the 243's milled to bring compression back to stock.

for a 4.8 you'll need a 3200+ verter and 4.10's at least to feel anywhere near quick... My 4.8 RCSB with a 220/220, 2600 stall, 3.42's is a DOG

for just daily driving, my reworked TB stall isn't bad at all, but when it comes to leaving hard from a dig its terrible.

Triple 12, some 4.10's and a decent stall will help it out. I will say, try to find a local tuner. Mail order tunes can be nothing but a headache at times, and can leave a lot on the table.

Yes is mostly daily driving. But the sac drag strip isnt far away from me. And i still owe money on the truck so im trying not.to get to much into.the motor. I was recomended a 2000-2400 stall for.dailg but.like.i.said.i know nothing about automatics

If you're going to drop the money on worked over heads... you may as well do an engine swap. Honesty. More power, less money.
