It's interesting you saw a 6000rpm hp peak, with a 224 (x-er) intake lobe. I expected much higher. Possibly 6200 and holding past. The smaller TR224 shows easy 6100rpm peaks.

I'm starting to think the Truck manifold is very restrictive @ higher rpms. A 6,000 hp peak with a 224 (x-er) lobe 114 + 4? The curve does stay pretty flat. To bad you didn't run it a bit higher.

I was thinking the same thing looks like there might be a little more up top I plan on turning mine up to 6500 when I get it dynoed just too see whats out there. Why do you think the intakes are restrictive at high rpms? I thought we saw same type of trends with people running fast intakes.


Those curves look nice that thing should fly lots of area under

were these runs done with the converter locked in?

powerband looks decently flat. makes for a nice driver that way.

that was with it unlocked. we only spun her to 6000. but my shift light was saying 6300. i am thinking that the front roller was slipping a little.
