I thought youd already put it on the dyno,
or was that before with the 60?
if so what else have you done that would effect the #s
since the 80?

 

i have strapped her down three times to a dyno. and every time somethintg was wrong. since the 80e swap i have added>>>224-228-581-588-114+4 comp cam-vigilante triple disc 2800 that hits 3000-msd wires-amw catch can-some more tuning.

60e -216-220-525-532-114 with slp 1.85's-2500 stall-14.29 n/a and 12.85n02

80e-224-228-581-588-114+4-vig 2800-13.79 n/a 12.79 no2.

i hope all goes well. the superflow dyno i believe puts out numbers that are a little lower. but heck i want to see. i will finish with a free spin run as well. with the wideband hooked up i think we can nail her down for sure.

good luck, going to the dyno is a blast. i found a place that will give me a long hours worth for $50. i will be going back many times at that rate.

those 80s must not suck as much power as I thought
or that cam and vig is really putting it down

either way still amazing

 

well the 80e does suck some power imo. and the cam i have is giving me hp but leaving me short on torque a lttle. this is a superflow dyno to so the numbers will be lower than the mustang dyno. overall i guess i have to be pleased since it is a bolt on and cammed 5.3 with 62000 on it.

im pleased with it. the air fuel stays right at 12.9 to 13.1 all the way accross. this truck runs good and it is very smooth on the power. thanks to nelson performance for all.
