Default A few random pics, intercooler, homemade CAI, wideband installation, 90mm TB, etc

Took some new pics today, just a few random shots, though I'd share.

New heat exchanger, bought from BlownChevy, made my own mounting brackets for the top, zip-tied it to the bottom. I LOOOOOVE zip-ties. Running inline with the original Radix HX. Peak IAT's are still high, but it recovers a lot faster.

My home-made CAI. Bought the AirAid filter and dam from another member, bought the PVC and flex-PVC connections from Home Depot. Total cost $65.

Side view of the Nick Williams 90mm TB. Had to enlarge the bottom two mounting holes a little bit, and grind out the inlet of the Radix, but it was pretty starightforward to install. Still haven't found the right clip to make the cruise control work, may try to figure something else out....

Tranny line extensions - I need to redo these, for obvious reasons.....

Also had to grind off the outermost ear on the tranny case to clear the ASM headers. I was freaking out cause I didn't think they were gonna fit....

DynoTune Nitrous digital WB gauge, installed in stock cluster....

Innovate LC-1 controller, zip-tied to fuel lines. O2 sensor is in the rear driver's side O2 bung on the stock y-pipe.

Here's how I did the connections for the EFILive interface - took a mono mini-jack and cut it up, very simple to plug and unplug, works well. Also you can see in the background I got a mounting plate from Checker to put in a momentary switch forO2 sensor calibration, and the status LED is mounted there as well.

Is that tranny cooler line still touching the header??? That could be what is causing your higher tranny temps. Everything else looks goodfor a white guy

Yep they are touching. I tried to zip-tie them out of the way but apparently the zip tie couldn't take the heat cause it's gone now. I need to re-route them, still have plenty of braided hose left. I bet my fluid is burnt already too

Yep, had to do a little bit of manual work with a dremel but it was pretty straightforward....BTW Kyle, you left your hole saw laying on my workbench.
