i know FAST makes a adaptor plate to run the stock 78MM TB with the LSXRT thats what im goin to try nexted. if that dosent work im all done with this intake and putting a TBSS/NBSS intake on it and calling it a day.

There is 1 video on youtube, mrbgray30, truck has borla xr-1 in video, all other videos are magnaflow muffler.
The TB's are known to create driveability issues, but to me it sounded like a big vaccumm leak you had.

Twolow- did you try to torque the lower half of the shell down first and then install the upper half? When I called fast that's what they recommended to me when I called about my intake. There was a slight gap the size of a business card.

Yup I torqued the upper half to the lower half before I installed it on the truck then put the intake on the truck and torqued it down to the cylinder heads just like the directions say to do.
I also applied small amount of silicone to the back rear section Like the directions say to do.
