Default exaust/intake power differences?

does anybody know:

1)how much more power a UPD will make over a Airaid intake?

2)how much more power true duals will make over a single in/dual out exaust (same mufflers)

True duals honestly are not gonna wake up until you start looking at a heads and cam setup. IMO, it is overkill on a stock internal engine. But it won't hurt if you go no larger than 2.5's. As far as the UPD over the Airraid, my story is old by now and some of you have heard it before. I dynoed 6rwhp / 9rwtq over the K&N FIPK in a little worse atmoshpheric conditions. Now, between the Airraid and FIPK, I don't know, because I did so much between those dynos.

so in THEORY, a 2001 with an airraid and single in/dual out should not be all that much slower than a 2002 with duals and UPD?

1) the 02s have been known to be faster from the factory

2) temperature, when you ran you were totally cooled off, when i ran i was up to temp, so that is worth 1 tenth at least and probably 2 tenths.

if i would have ran at a lower temp i think i could have hit 15.2 or so. don't you think a 1/2 sec(almost .6 secs) is a big increase for just intake and exhaust? thats a big gain on a stock truck.

can some of you guys help us out? <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

the 02s are that much faster.

it might have been the temps but how do you explain the 15.45 i ran after sitting for 5 minutes to get the by into the next round? (the engine was running too btw)

i'm really stumped on this.

i know this is an old post but i was just looking around and coudlnt help but notice zerog's 91mph trap speed.must have had some wheel spin or bad launch or somthing.wouldnt 91mph be around a 15.2,if you launched good with minimal tire spin?that might explain the very close times between the 2 of you.whats crazyidiot4.8's trap speed?
