It's hard to explain, almost feels like a slingshot. Like the converter was doing all the work, not the engine.

I preferred my TT3000 over the stock converter for daily city driving. It really is a tight stall.

I know what you mean, after putting in my TT3000 my truck does a lot less downshifting. first gear doesnt see that much use anymore (unless you get on it) and you will never have to downshift on the freeway, the converter will just unlock and thats all you need. It makes it feel like you have an extra gear.

As far as towing. I tow my 21' boat around a lot, it weighs about 4000lbs. it does it fine. you do have to give it a little more gas to get going but it pulls it fine. Ive also pulled heavier things like my dads hallet 270 and never had problems. I have the stock trans cooler still and it never even gets warm with my boat. It heats up a little with the heavier boat, but a trans cooler would eliminate that. And when Im pulling my boat its usually on a 250 mile trip. I think it pulls better on the freeway with the stall because you dont have to downshift as often.
