A higher stall has it's pros and cons, you should really experience it yourself before making a decision.
Like I said before I wish I had been able to drive someone else's truck with an aftermarket stall so I coud at least get an idea of what I wanted. For the most part everyone says get a 3000 so I went a little higher
I love my Vig 3200. It made my truck feel totally different. Like some of the guys said, it takes getting used to. If you sit in traffic everyday I would not recommend a 3200 because it did get on my nerves sometimes. It's loose, you have to take it to about 2000RPMs before it gets going.
Brian(blownchevy) had a 2600 stall in his truck when I drove it and it felt almost like stock. However, it was hard to tell because with the Radix on there I wasn't paying close attention to the stall, but how freakin fast it took off
Sooo...if you can, drive a truck with an aftermarket stall in it.

Since we are on the verter topic does anyone know how to tell the difference between a 4L60 converter for a LT1 and LS1?

A Yank tt3000 is probably the best mod you can make to your truck. You still have full towing ability and the drivability is excellent. The converter feels like you've added about 50hp,with good tires and a posi you'll cut about a full second off your 0 to 60 time.Your next mod might be Caltracs.

Most people who who I've heard talk about their TT3000's say there's no way they would tow much more than a couple of Jet Skis with it. That claim by Yank of full towing capacity is just that, a claim, but I would trust the guys who actually have tried towing with it first.

So if I got a Yank tt3000 installed, when will the truck accually start to move?
Like if I im sitting at a light an I take my foot off the brake, will the truck start moving around 2000RPMs or higher?
Cause I know if im holding down the brake then it would not move till around the full 3000RPM range right?
But I was just wondering how it moves when im not on the brake, can any one further explain that?

I towed a 4500lb trailer with a 230lb bike and a 350lb 4-wheeler in the bed with my TT3000. It did pretty good.

When you take your foot off the brake, it will start to roll just like the stock converter. To accelerate from a light at a normal traffic pace it takes about 2000 rpm.
