Default everyday driver with stall?

I was just wondering how you guys thought my 04 silverado might do with a Stall, an being a everyday driver?
I already have a tune an shift kit, but I was just wondering exactly how good a 4L60 would handle a stall on a everyday drive?
An if I was to run a stall, What kind should I get?

limit it to 2600 or so if you wat a daily driver.....if you can live with it being a little loose in traffic go for a 3000 or so

I really like my tt3000. I wouldn't go too much more for the street though. Get one!

The 3000 isnt bad for a daily driver. You do kind of have to adjust your driving a little bit because of the way the car will now drive. but its easy to get used to and you dont notice it after

I'm considering 4.11 gears instead of a converter (got 3.73's now), just because I don't want the issues associated with a higher stall converter.

My 2600 took a bit of getting used to. I would not go any higher, but it's personal preference. Try and find some one local that has a stall, car or truck. It's hard to understand the loose feeling until you drive a stalled vehicle.

That's an excellent suggestion. My ride with Ed is still with me to this very day.

A higher stall has it's pros and cons, you should really experience it yourself before making a decision.

Ive got a 3000 on my Tahoe which is my daily driver, but I wish I woudve gone 3200. Maybe Im the exception to the rule. I dont really spend any time in traffice though either. If you are in alot of stop and go I wouldnt go very high at all.

my old 03 1500HD stalled @ 2500rpm stock. Seemed just fine to me. You might try looking for a 1500HD to drive as well.
