Default electric fans

on my 99 chevy i had electric fans on it. but it would overheat if it idled to long. they were v6 camaro fans from a 97. i made a shroud out of fiberglass that was very nice. but still no luck, i asumed that the fans and the radiator were not adequate so i decided on my o2 i would go a little different route. i ordered the 06+ 34 inch radiator and two 16" fans that are 2500cfm a piece. i plan on running relays with the power wire straight off the alternator and 10gauge grounds. do u think this will be good enough to keep it cool?

I think your new set up will work fine.. On my 01 silvy i junked the stock radiator, shrouds, and the clutch fan.. I installed an 06' 34" radiator and the 06' electric fans but i have my fans controlled with my tune so they turn on according to temp and ac pressures.. I've never had a problem, watching the scanner while i drive my average temps are 199* at all speeds and i towed about 7k pounds last summer and on the back roads with hills and about 90* (high humidity) my temps were hanging around 201*.. You should be just fine.
