Ok, Ill try that... I'll see if I can do it tonight and give you the results. I need to get some 18-22 gauage wire and crimp the pin and insert to the red slot. I haven't done that part yet. Whats the overall verdict though? If I get nothing on 33 does that mean my problem just got worse than we originally thought?

Honestly I'm not sure. I'm just trying to eliminate things at this point.

Should I try cutting that wire and see if it stops all this nonsense?

That's right, Pin 33 goes to the HVAC recirculation door in hte non e-fan trucks. We just need to see if ground is being applied. If you have a pin made up, I'd use that to keep from cutting wires unnecessarily. Just pull the current one out and put yours in.

You have to pull the colored cover off and then carefully pry the white tab away from the pin just enough to release it. Then put the new pin in and put the cover back on making sure all of the tabs are inside the cover.

shittastic, yeah I tried that too and those colored covers are on there pretty tight, I hate plastic cause I always break something... Ok is there an easy way to get that colored cover off? my fingers are two sizes too large to crimp the white plastic tabs in as im pulling the cover off.

There should be a little tab on the side of the pin protector where the white plastic shows through. Push on that with a flat head screw driver and pull the cover up. It should then just come off and hinge off the other side.
