Default Edelbrock Shorties on 6.0L

Well it looks like my budget only allows me to purchase the cheap Edelbrock Shorties for my 6.0L swap commencing Thursday. I will get the ceramic coated ones only to keep the engine running cooler with the Supercharger.. Any HP gain will be a bonus. This will be at least better than nothing! Can anyone advise on their experiences with the install. How difficult is it to change spark plugs afterwards.

I have the Edlebrock shorties..... the same ones your looking at except for the 5.3

and i had my spark plugs changed when "lees performance" did the came swap.

the sparksplugs near the firewall are the hardest to get to... the rest are pretty simple..

I have them on my 01hd 6.0l, they were relatively easy to install, did notice some power increase, the spark plugs are easier to change out IMO, the ones close to the firewall are a little harder to do though.

simple to install just oil your bolts good so they wont give you much trouble taking them off(talking bout the ones on the bottom)...use the gm metal gasket instead of the gaskets that come with the kit...i have the sts and have not had any gasket leaks at all..lots of guys say they had leaking gaskets with the kits stuff...

Thanks for the info! I ordered the shorties today. They were the cheapest at $290, figured I cant go wrong. With FI ,I will need to change my plugs more often so it sounds like its not a show stopper.
