I was looking for info on headers and fond ya'll. I try to research as much as I can before do things like this. And I'm just good at finding things on ebay. I buy a lot on there for motorcycles & tools thing for the shop. I'm all way leary of chinese parts. At lest that is what I unstand these to be. And I too was looking at the 6.0 for the true duel set up. So there you go.
Would still like to know if the 07 and up would fit my 01 because it look like they don't have the odd ball pipe on the driver side. That and the clamps are why I would spend the exter money.

Default matching

I got the ebay headers I'm going to put them on this weekend probably. My back is a little out right now, just have to see how that is by then. But what I have see with these headers so for is the that they really need to be match to the gaskets. Mine are way off on the outer ports and some on the center ports. Has any one else ran across this? I'm going to mount them with new O2's and see what it dose to the truck fist. After that I'm going with 4" turbo back off of the diesels with a flowmaster 50 series to keep it quite. This is more because no one around here can bend any thing over 3". The Y pipe that came with these headers is neck down to 2.5" and then back up to 3". I really don't get it. So the plane is when I do the 4" to cut the bottle neck out and make it a true 3" at lest may be a 4". I really have not made up my mind on that point yet. IF any one has done this I would like your in put on this. The truck is stock right now but for and intake. Cam later and freshen up the motor & clean up on the heads & retune. The truck is more for pulling then a hot rod. Take out the Egr and valve in the hot water to the throttle body in the summer time elect fans bigger radiator later too, bigger oil cooler for motor and trans. Some were around 350 at the wheels should be more then do able with this set up. Never work on LS motor before, dose it sound like I'm on the right track? Ya'll tell me.

Thanks Bruce

I assume you are talking about the junk gaskets they supply? I used the stock GM gaskets. They lined up fine.

Default never mind

I don't even know why I even try to ask questions on these web sites. And no they are felpro gaskets. And I was talking about the port holes in the header flange lining up not the bolts. Had to do a lot of matching. But is all good now, I wont be asking any more questions here.

Who said anything about bolts?

You said you had to "match the gaskets", and then asked, "has anyone else ran across this?"...(like I quoted in my reply)

I asked if you meant the junk gaskets that are supplied with the Ebay headers, since I KNOW they do not line up, as I mentioned in PAGE 1 of this thread, and also replied that I used STOCK GM gaskets (on Page 1 and above), and as I said, they are fine.
They needed no "matching", no trimming, no modifications whatsoever...

Not sure what the attitude is about?
I've had literally dozens of people email or PM me asking me about these headers and their installation, and/or thanking me for taking the time to take 30+ pictures while I was installing them. I've been honest & helpful and replied as soon as possible to anyone & everyone.

I answered your question also...but it's doubtful that will ever happen again.

Thanks for the kind words Billy.

I'm not sure what happened either, and I was definitely a little confused myself.
Oh well...

You can't make everyone happy. That being said, I am very happy I found this thread when it was started. It helped me a lot when I was deciding on which headers to get and what I needed to look out for with the install. Other than a slight rattle in the beginning I have not had any issues with them over the last 6 months. The passenger side was hitting my frame rail and needed to be dented in about a 1/4 inch.
