yeah I think the frame is not a mirror image side to side.... but the pass is a little lower but i think that's just for the x-over pipe to line up with everything....

so i've been wondering...
do you think it's plausible to use this system without that y merge piece & run duals off the back of the cat-looking resonators?

I thought about that same thing too, but not sure if there's enough space between crossmember for two pipes?

i just crawled under & it looks like there'd be room... i mean, after all, the 6.0s came with factory duals, so i don't see why they wouldn't fit

Default Has any one seen these?

Brand new stainless steel header system for the 07-up Chevy Truck / SUV application with 4.8l, 5.3l, and 6.0l engine only (will not fit 6.2l engine).

I have an 01 gmc 1500 5.3 and if this will fit my truck to not have the odd ball pipe on the driver side. I would spend the exert money up front and not have to buy the band clamp and things. Remind me of headman headers, I use to have on anther truck. They are on E-bay too for $495. shipped

hmmm, big decision for someone on a budget.

$16 for 2 band clamps, or $205 more so you don't have a "hump"?

It sure is interesting that you joined the forum 2 days ago and your first 3 posts are you "helping" people find headers on Ebay?????????? You're either a VERY nice person, or an Ebay seller who happens to sell headers but doesn't want to be a paid sponsor.

One difference I have seen between the ebay and the actual OBX headers is that the OBX headers are all stainless. While the flanges on the ebay headers are cheap chrome plated mild steel. But still pretty good for the price.
