I doubt you even felt TQM with those mods. once you put a shift kit in and a power adder Ie S/C or N2o (for ricers its NOZZ YO), then youll feel it. Itll feel like your truck just got punched in the chest and it got the wind knocked out of it.Itll be noticable during your shifts, and in my case 2nd-3rdshift, and rightafter the truck hits about 80, it kicks in, and then it picks up and goes agian. I must say you made a good choice on the Gibson Super truck, i have it and it sounds sweet..IMO the next mod should be a shift kit and a vette servo(i dont have a servo yet, but thats coming too) then a TQ converter. Try makeing a ramair setup out of either dryer duct or pvc pipe from the Hole in the lower valance to the bottom of the plate beneath your air filter(youll have to cut a hole in the plat, or make one. I did this on the old mans yukon, and you feel the difference. Look into the free mods such as porting you throttle body to 75mm, and Grinding the tb to 4.7 volts.

good luck, and welcome to the club
John

I don't think you're lean with those mods. The trucks are actually rich from the factory so leaning them out a little is good.

Also, torque management has nothing to do with power down low. TQ MGMT pulls timing during the shifts if it sees too much torque at the shift point.

TQM pulls back power to soften shifts, It's not a factor from a stop.
