and I can tell a tiny difference in throttle response and a bit better regular driving power.
They're also pretty quiet suprizingly, but they werent when I accidently had one of the fans reversed
If you can pick up a set, I'd deffinately suggest it simply because of how much room it free's up in your engine bay.
Will post pics if anyone wants em.

well all of my money is tied up the cam right now, so I just ran up to O'reillys and got 30 ft of red, and 30 ft of black wire, some quick disconnects, a fuse holder (30 amp), zip ties, and a toggle switch.
It works great, but is only temporary until I can afford a harness. But this way would be a great setup for the track since I can leave the fans on while the motor is off waiting in the staging lanes to help with heat soak.

post teh bracket pics...did you get any measurements by chance?
i wanna make some brackets for mine, but don't feel like takin the clutch fan off putting the e-fans on, then putting the clutch fan back on to see how small of a sheet i need of metal.

I just did this upgrade, too. While I didn't notice too much of a performance gain, it definitely still has its positives. First, and the biggest thing for me here in AZ (where it gets to be 110-115 in the summer), is that the e-fans keep your A/C running a LOT cooler when you're sitting still. The old clutch fan just didn't move enough air when the truck was sitting at idle, so it would blow out warm air unless I'm going at least 15mph+. Now it blows ice cold all the time!
Also, there is SO much more room to work with in the engine bay now, it's incredible! I swear I could almost get in there and stand in between the motor and the radiator now. That damn fan & shroud took up so much room! And long-gone is the annoying "whhhooooosh" sound of the clutch fan.
And I'm also getting better mileage after the install - I went from 14.8 up to 15.5!
I personally went with the 05+ OEM GM fans, simply because I didn't want to mess around with fabbing a mounting bracket for the LS1 fans. Also, I've heard that the OEM truck fans move a lot more air than the LS1 fans, and I need all the cooling power I can get here in the desert. I got the OEM e-fans from eBay for $250 + a Nelson wiring harness for $100 = $350 for the whole job, and it was worth every penny.
EDIT: BTW, unless you have a stock 6.0L LQ4 (w/34" radiator), then you would need to upgrade your radiator to the new 34" if you want to use the OEM 05+ e-fans.
