I installed dual dynomax bullets and left the cats on. They are the small bullets and are really loud (like i like it). It sounds awesome but when i step on the gas it is raspy and sounds like things banging off each other. My truck is a 04 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0L. Could this be the detonation? Or is it just rasp from the mufflers? Thanks

 

Sounds like the rasp from the mufflers-just my .02 worth.Im actually looking at getting the bullet mufflers as well when I get my supercharger.

 

well it sounds great but under WOT it just pops a ton.

 

An X-pipe need maybe to reduce the popping?

an x pipe is what i did when i had my bullets and it helped out a lot.

 

Leave your cats on! They sound like **** with them off. They cackle so bad! I ordered the sportsman street from Spintech to hopefully take out that cackle.
