I just ordered my 224/224 cam with 561 lift and manley springs. Do i need pushrods or are the stock ones on the 5.3 fine?

off topic but is it highly suggested to go to these 7.400" pushrods when you swap cams to an aftermarket one

Ahh, thanks. I hear a small amount of valvetrain ticking when idling down from around 2,000 but none other than that. So is the .025 increase suggested, or willit lead to valve float in the higher rpm range.

you could go with the 7.4 length and i might get rid of some of the ticking, just make sure you get the hardend set....if you dont there is a chance that you will be bending them and that wouldnt be a fun project......
