the opposite of bad maintenance? OBS bottom end @ 100k haha. cannot believe how that poor LY2 looked. the good side, as someone pointed out, you got a lifetime supply of chassis grease.

Just because I can I pressure tested both heads today at 40 psig...... and they passed with flying colors. Well once I got all the plugs in the test plate to stop leaking...... funny that this test plate works for both LS's and Dodge Magnum 318/360 heads... Reason being is over half the holes line up between the two, lol. Now the deck could be warped as I haven't really checked.... but the head gaskets/heads and block show zero leakage.

Pretty sure this sludge is not coolant related whatsoever as eluded to previously. This truck probably idled in the winter 24 hours a day and had little in the way of maintenance done. Company POS for an service rig company. Pretty sure that is all the sludge is from.

They also used to thick of an oil for that motor.
