Those cats with the O2 bungs are ceramic element though, not metallic. They do sell metallic cats for a lot cheaper than the Magnaflow's they're knocking off...

?? Yes, I got the high flow ceramic ones. But you're info about the price is incorrect. Mine cost much less than the metallic ones, by about $20 some dollars each.

I know that they're cheaper. But the metallic cats have a higher flow rate and will last longer than the ceramic element cats.

I like the Idea of the cats you guys are talking about. I think I will check and see if they make the metalics with the o2 bung. What about the rest of the y pipe? Do you think there is enough room to weld these cats in a ory y pipe? Or from the cats back will a custom pipe need to be made. I dont like the fact that a exhaust shop will have to make something from scratch ( you never know what you will get) and it wont be mandrel bent.

have you guys thought of puting a 3" high flow cat AFTER the y and extend the one o2 for the left pipe? I think I will just put in a pipe to interchange for inspection time. Anyone know if getting the rear o2's tuned out will effect the inspection machines in texas?

I believe that in texas you can 2 "not readies" and still pass when they check the codes and system checks. I am not sure how many "Not Readies" deleting the cats makes.
