I know some people mess up their exhaust so they redo it, but most of us get bored and want a change in sound. Oh and burnsstainless has awesome stuff but seriously $$$$

I was referring to my dynatech catted Y pipe. I still have my OEM Y pipe in storage. You can buy some magnaflow metallic center spun cats for about $150 that will work good for you

If you are just wanting all out performance, do what i ultimately did on my SS and just bolt a muffler on the end of each collector. i had bullets on there first and it sounded with the stock cam but they were unbareably loud with the Trex cam (and i can stand A LOT). So i switched to a couple of magnaflow mufflers. It was still loud as ***** in the car but atleast my ears stopped ringing.

True...I did the same thing on my GTO trying to get an "exotic" sound out of it. My brother finally got it right with a custom muffler from SLP that had dual 3" in/dual 3" out...but it loser 15 rwtq over the Magnaflow catback.

Barring gaining "drone" in the interior, I would rather optimize power over sound. Just my opinion...

I took the pacesetter off road Y and hacked it up to make my dual 3" into single 4" I have now. It sounds so so so mean... Ill get a clip as soon as my cam charges.

Hopefully, the rest of my piping will be here this weekend, and I can get my tip on. Going with a 4 in/5 out diesel tip in the factory location...

here is the Y pipe...just a simple fab job... The cats are there to clean up the sound...I cant stand a really raspy exhaust.
I had an 05GT with gutted cats and full exhaust and the rasp nearly killed me. It sounded mean as **** at WOT, but god it was raspy.
