Hey man, the Stang was a special circumstance-I was running a shop at the time and I was hooked up with a tranny shop that I referred all my customers to so they cut me a deal. I paid $660 for what was probably a $1200 job at the time. I would say you are lokking at a minimum of $1000 to over $2000 depending what you want to do. The warranty might not be a bad way to go-depending on how hard it would be to put it back to stock. <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

Does the tranny fluid smell burnt?I am with you put it back as stock as you can and use your warrenty. Is the warrenty a GM or an aftermarket warrenty? If its an aftermarket warrenty maybe you can take it to a independant trans shop.
