How much do they charge to lube your shaft? I guess I'm lucky, 106k and no clunking ever.

Just had the revised shaft put in a few days ago and what a difference.It tightened up the front imensly.I had the tech show me the difference between the old and new style .And the newer style has thicker splines And does not need to be relubed.Sorry I dont have part #s I waited 6 months for this shaft to arrive..Get your name on the list asap.Check the tsb's for revised intermediate steering shaft ..Hopefully it truly does fix the clunking ....The truck feels and drives like it is new..

I finally got mine fixed yeaterday. I took the truck in for the tailgate recall and mentioned to the service writer that the steering felt loose. They checked it out and replaced the intermediate shaft. Problem solved.

mine started at like 68k, but it doesnt do what yall say it just sounds like nokia phone on vib. on a piece of tin while im barely on the gas....its drivin me insane, whats funny is that it got louder when i put my dynamat in my rear doors and front doors
