I think I am going to run the 2600 for a bit. If, or should I say when, the low end bothers me, I will upgrade and sell the 2600. I am trying to keep the cost down for the initial install/setup (3800 incl. cam pkg.). The items that I know I want are e-fans, crank pulley and tach. I know I will benefit from them. It is just not crucialright now.

i got a 226/226 112lsa in my LQ9 and am enjoying it.... there is something said on here that you are suppose to go one size bigger than what you want cause thats what usually happens and the end, doing another cam swap...
by the way mines at EC so there is no reason why it shouldnt work good in yours

ok - so i lied. So far i have bought ASP underdrive pulleys (last ones in the US), SLP 160 thermostat, and an Autometer 2302 tach. Plus, I have my tuner looking for a good set of LS1 fans. They get bought nearly as soon as they are listed.
