Are you serious?

You realize the bearing tolerance on the cam is all of about the size of a **** hair, if any dirt got knocked into the top of the heads it drains right onto the lifters which goes right onto the cam which coincendently just happens to be right by the cam journals. A little spec of dirt can get in between the journal and bearing which creates friction between the two surfaces causing them to gauld and spin the bearing out of it oil journal. Please dont post if you dont know what you are talking about. Dirt spins bearings period, why do you think it is so pertanent to change the oil after doing any work on the motor?

I think you owe someone an apology for being, as you so well put it, an ***.

Just because that wasnt the case doesnt mean dirt doesnt spin bearings or that it can spin them by revving the motor like I did with no oil pressure. What I said was right on, just maybe should have worded it differently. I also said I needed to pull the cam to see what was going on that it may not be the cam.

And all I said is that he deserved an apology for you attacking him like that and it still not being a cam bearing like he suggested it wasn't. Whether or not he gets one is all up to you. It really makes me no difference.

I have nothing else to say about the matter.

I shouldnt have been so "short" with him, I apologized and stated that I was in a foul mood due to all the problems, its not an excuse but is just how things are. Problem is solved and thanks to everyone who helped out.

I already have an 02 pcm. I just need some bigger injectors, and to figure out how to tune this damn thing. You can really tell the exhaust is choking so I think I'm gonna do some headers with catless y-pipe next

What size camis this?

I put a 216/220 114 in a stock 4.8 with a custom catback and a drop in K&N and noticed a BIG difference after tuning. The biggest thing was timing. It needed a few more degrees of timing to come alive and boy did it come alive then.

Any 00 and up 4.8,5.3, or 6.0 injectors will work...check the classifieds, there's usually a full set for anywhere from $70-$100 (alot of guys have them left over from supercharger swaps)
