Just wanting to know what I should do first. I know the headers are around 700 or so, and a cam with springs and rods is going to be near 700 aswell. Which should I do first? I plan on both, just trying to figure out which one I should get first. Then I'll get a tune.
Thanks!

hrmm.. completely opposite anwsers
Slowverado is telling me to go 220/220 @ .555 on 112LSA, says it will run on a stock tune....
I think its a thunder grind... which I kinda like their cams, after reading part of that long *** thread J-Rod started a while back. (They have quicker ramp rates I believe) But, if you have any other suggestions I'm open.
I get to spend some $$$ now. I got a steady job, and I got a used car lot to detail cars for... Doing that lot alone on just basic, no frills cleaning will make enough for a cam or headers. If they want me to make 'em new ... oh yeah!!!!

Cam it dude, cam it!!
There is a tad more involved with installing a cam than the headers. I chose the cam first... Guess riding in a friends truck with a similar cam swayed my decision. Runs dam good for just the cam, Edit tuning and some 4:10's. All my parts: cam, springs, rods and ASP pulley ran me pretty much what long tubes would cost. Pick whichever you want. I am gonna get some LT's first of next year though.

What cam are you getting anyways?. I say, anything more aggresive than mine(not that mine is aggresive in the first place) and you won't appreciete it as much as if you had a tune and some headers.

That cam slowv recommended will NOT run well on the stock tune. My cam is smaller with a 114 lsa and my engine is larger, yet mine would still die and lope pretty well. I would go no smaller than a 114 lsa, but a 220 duation is too big for not having a proper tune. Look at one of Comp cams 212/218 cams. I think you can run either of them on the stock tune and will gain 30+ hp to the wheels. Not too bad at all.
