There is a tad more involved with installing a cam than the headers. I chose the cam first... Guess riding in a friends truck with a similar cam swayed my decision. Runs dam good for just the cam, Edit tuning and some 4:10's. All my parts: cam, springs, rods and ASP pulley ran me pretty much what long tubes would cost. Pick whichever you want. I am gonna get some LT's first of next year though.

I wouldn't get a 112lsa if you don't plan on tuning either. I would stay 115 or 114 with no tune. The low lsa will give it a harder lope with more need for some tuning.
A 212/218 on a 114 will give a pretty nice lope.

Agreed with BigTex and Flyer. That cam Slowverado mentioned will NOT work on a stock tune. Also, I would stay on a 113lsa or 114lsa the lower the lsa the nastier the lope at idle, but you will also have to tune more for the lower lsa cams.
I did cam before headers. You will notice a difference while still running the stock exhaust manifolds.

I ran a 220/220 .530/.530 110LSA cam in a car for a while...it chop chopped HARDCORE. Shook the vehicle at idle, had no vac for the brakes, and the comp freaked out alot. It sounded badass and scared people tho'
I wouldn't go that narrow unless you have an external vac motor/supply.
How much power are ya trying to gain?

Brandon, that came would be a nice mild streetable cam. If you move lift up like that it will move the power band up. From what I gather, that's the affect of more lift. Both of those cams would be nice. I would try and stay under .560 lift though, as you start stressing springs pretty bad once you get over .560. If longevity is the main issue, I wouldn't go that high with lift.

Yeah first off Slow is a *** clown. Everyone agree? My cam isnt anywhere that big and had tuning issues. Still does a bit. I still really need a tune with edit to get it right. If you went with that cam with no tuning , stall , or gears you would want to hunt Slow down and kick him in the teeth for his advice and then end up jumping off a cliff for listening to him. Best mod you can do is not listen to him. HE is windier than a sack full of farts.
