Gears and converter would be a big diff..

 

any special tools required? and also does it have to be lined up a certain way? i need to find some instructions between now and then im just ask"n tho haha

 

A floor jack, a couple ratchet straps, a pry bar, are a necessity, unless you have help. A 4' extension and a wobble will make it much easier to get to the top bolts...

Nope not really.. The trans/block will have some pins in it to line up the bell housing.

All you have to do is unbolt the 3 converter bolts, unbolts the bellhousing bolts and undo the 2 bolts on the crossmember. I don't know if you can do it with the tcase still on or not because mine was off at the time but I didn't have to fully pull my trans out just got it back far enough to get the converter in and seated

 

Probably have to drop the Y...

 

Yea I forgot about that you have to pull the y pipe too.. Its been a while since I done it and I hope it stays that way

 

I became somewhat versed on pulling transmissions last year, don't ask me why...

 

haha kk cool guys ill see what i can come up with, i talked to a gy in town said he can do my gears for 250-300 for the install so should be pretty decent there
