cam/ computer question

Default cam/ computer question

if you get a cam do you have to do computer work? i thought i heard someone say that after a 100 miles or so that the computer will automatically adjust to the cam. any ideas thoughts on this?

It all depends on what size cam and especially how much overlap you go with.. The ls6 cam and most low - mid range cams will run great without tuning. Usually idle is the first thing to be effected and your ECM will not learn that out ..

what about a 206/212 112lsa cam? i hope the pcm will learn this cam as well as the .4 liter increase n size?
