Default Buying Motor With Busted Intake

I was looking at a motor that came out of a wrecked silverado that was hit high and busted the upper intake manifold. What could be worst case for this motor? (What could this have done to the rest of the motor)? Does this sound like a bad idea?

The threads could be striped out on the heads, where the manifold bolts to at best. At worst, some rods caps could've come loose and scarred up the crank. It happens to circle track cars when they smack the wall hard enough. If you're sure the truck didn't hit a stationary object head on, then it's probably fine. I would at least pull the pan though to make sure.
