The 4L80E will fit,but the PCM for a 4L60E equipped truck will not work,so you have to use a stand alone computer to control the transmission's shift functions you also have to fabricate a driveshaft and do an outright purchase of the 4L80E transmission, flywheel and converter.

My Procharger seems to be a little harder on transmissions than people think. I make all of my torque at 3200. The only thing that I have had trouble with is the 3-4 clutchs.
A simple way to help the clutchs is line pressure. I take the pressure control soleniod out and give the torx a half of a turn. Re-stake it so it doesn't move back. It will not make the PCM do anything stupid because, it still thinks it is at stock pressure. Hope this helps.

both of these places are about the same cost for the transmission, and both are pretty much identical builds. As an option you can buy the valvebody kit, and tranny kit from each place to create your own for about $550 shipped. If you then have a reputable shop to do the work, it should not cost more then $400 to $500 to drop the tranny, rebuild it, and then reinstall it with a different torque converter.
I have a shop that will do it for $450 here in Vegas, so the whole thing will cost me about $1100, not including the cost of a new torque converter.
