Building a air intake?
#1
I'm looking for some pics and a how to on how some of you built your own air intakes. I did find one here that was built with fiberglass, and was hoping to find more that did not use glass. Another member mentioned a how to on here and only cost him aroud $15 to build. Thanks guys.

I built one that was a little ghetto with some 4" ID rubber hose from oreillys (like 15 bux) and I used a 4" air duct 90* elbow to go from the tb->inlet hose. and put the maf sensor somewhere in between all that. also for the filter I bought one of the ricer ones from autozone that fit. it all worked ok, but IMO unless you have access to a nice mandrel bender and some 4" tubing and can weld/fabricate its worth the money to just buy a K&N or AEM. btw, you on the texas gulf coast or florida? jw
