BOOSTED LT1 SWAP- need a transmission to hold-
#1
Hey guys after graduation next year i will have enough money to put an Turbo charged LT1 in the blazer- The bottom end will be forged i and i hope to acheive 9:1 compression ratio- and run about 15 to 20psi on this motor- It will remain a 350-
My goal is 500 to 600whp -
I was wondering if a built 4l60e will hold this for a long time-
OR will a 4l80e bolt right in place and be able to work with the LT1 PCM?
Will a 4l80e w/ a shift kit and servos hold 600whp easily?
Also will i need to shorten the drive shaft if i go to a 4l80e?
AND LAST- WHERE CAN I GET A 4l80e that i dont have to send in a core!?
