Default Blower swap question

I have a 00 sierra with a 4.8 and have the opportunity to get a maggie 112 off my boss's 05 5.3 tahoe before he trades it in.

My question is will the intake and fuel rails swap over to the 5.3, ive been told the fuel systems are different between the two year models.

If it is not a dirrect swap what will I need to complete this swap, I'm not really concerned with getting the 4.8 running right away, but the tahoe will need to be finished and running so it can be traded in.

Thanks in advance
James

Your 2000 truck has a return fuel system, and the 2005 is returnless. The blower will bolt right onto your truck, but you'll need to get the return style fuel inlet block from Magnacharger. The rails will not need to be replaced, and I'm not sure if the injectors have the same plugs or not(off the top of my head). I can check on Monday for you.

Having said that, your stuff will also be wrong for his truck. I do have a good used intake manfold off a 2005 5.3 liter for sale. It's complete with injectors and rails. PM me if you're interested.
