Default 1500hd cat back questions

I recently bought a 2001GMC 1500HD. I've been trying to find a magnaflow cat back with no luck. I emailed magnaflow and they said they don't offer one for the crew cab trucks. Well, they offer one for the 2500HD crew cab with 78" bed. Is there a major difference between the two trucks as far as exhaust and components under the trucks?

If they have one for the regular 2500 it's nearly the same thing as the 1500hd except for hanger location iirc

Ok thanks I'll check into it. The stock exhaust is a lil rusty and has a leak on the left cat where the connection is

My stock 2500HD was only a muffler swap and some tailpipes away from being a dual 3", so that's exactly what I did.

A 2500HD's exhaust of the same cab configuration will bolt right on a 1500HD. Hanger location for the tailpipe might be different..... but I doubt it. 1500HD and up with LQ4's all have 2.75" dual in exhaust.

And if they list parts for a crew cab 6.5' bed 2500 NON HD then it's the exact same thing.... in every single way.

Ok I can live with that. Hanger location is no biggie I just want to make sure the pipe configuration and length are the same. N the big reason I want a magnaflow kit is I like the sound and I have a buddy that can get me a deal on it
