I dunno about physically ... but I think a 233/239 113 would go nice in one.

I'm assuming this is in a 1/2 ton truck or something besides a 3/4 or 1 ton anyways.

It depends on the ICL, ECL Im sure you can run big durations as long as the piston is far enough away. The bigger problem will be the intake not performing past 5900 if its a truck or 6500 with the ls6. If memory serves me there are several guys with cams in the 236 range with LQ's uncut

BTW: Alot of prostock run cams with intake exhaust angles in the 120 range

I just heard a 238/238 in a 6.0L today and its not streetable in my book and that was with some tuning already done to it. It was shaking the tires and everything else. But, if you want the shaking and cammin muscle car sound....go for it.

I would stick to more of a 224/230 or something like that.

What's wrong with your cam shaking the tires? I thought it was supposed to do that

My cam does that in my 5.3L and I daily drive the **** out of it.

im not concerned about streetability issues. it is a weekend only car. as far as the intake i am going with the livernois motorsports stage 3 l92 heads and a carb intake. that should help my upper rpms, and the car is going to see the spray

i was thinking something around a 230 to 240ish dur and .610 lift on a 113 or 114

thanks for the replies . keep them coming
