I ended up building my own, and using a K&N drop-in filter. Total cost for the tubing, 90* bend, and 4" to 3" rubber adaptor was $30 at Home Depot.

This weekend, I plan on cutting a hole in the bottom of the stock airbox and running a homemade ramair setup.

I bought the AEM, and but if I had it to do over again I'd definately consider the Volant with the ram air setup. The metal tends to get hot but, it helped a little when I rerouted the coolant lines under the tube to where they weren't resting against the intake tube.

Do your set make a diffent.
I have a 2003 gmc yukon 4.8 I have a replacement drop in fiter. I would like to changer the factory tub with a Airaid Modular Intake Tubes
Modular Intake Tube. or should I just sale my K&N and buy the Airaid Jr. Kits It come with the fiter in the tub for $149.00. thank you for your help.
