biggest cam for tt2600 ????????

Default biggest cam for tt2600 ????????

hey guys,,,,jason in cali chiming in. so far the eaton and 2600 yank converter and performance rebuild is holding up sweet,,,love it,,,ok now down to business,,,got my tax return (750),,now want to put a nice cam in it,,so those of you who have or have experience with a 2600 converter,,which is the biggest cam i can use,,,,,so far ive come up with the tr220 or similar cams could be used,,,,anyone got any suggestions ??? thanks in advance,,be safe everone,,late

i'd like to know myself too. i have the tr220 and sf3000 waiting to be installed. but i might sell or trade my sf3000 and go with the tt2600 b/c i will be doing some towing.
any input if the 2600 will be enough for the tr220. also this is in a reg. cab. thanks...

Not sure it's limits. But I am about to do the same thing and everyone's said the TR224 is fine (its in my sig) with a 2600 stall... I too never know when I may need to tow something so I'm not overdueing the Stall.

Id want more stall than 2600 with that 224 in a 4.8. Especially with a 112. If you are going to tow at all. Stay away from small diameter converters.

With the 2600. Id say a 212/218, 216/220, TR's 220/220, MTI's C1 222/222 would work well. Even my little 212/218 is craving stall.

This is what I'm going with. I just order the TR220 cam package and TR told me that the TB stall will work fine with that cam.

The tr220 has to grinds one on a 112 lobe sep. or a 114 lobe sep. i would go with the 114 lobe sep.you'll be fine with 2600 stall.should work great

well i already have the tr220/112 sitting at home waiting for me to come back from overseas. i'll try it out and see how it goes...

I will be installing my 220/220 in a few weeks. I also have a 3k converter going in right now. (I"m takin a break) I know I could have gone bigger but the 220/220 is what thunder recomended.
