I have the UPD lid and tube, it was a good bit of difference.

 

I have the Airaid and tb spacer that I put on at the same time. Slight noticable diffrence in mpg and performance. If I had to do it over I would try my own custom (home made) intake.

 

go with volant ram air if you have the money to spend youll tell the differnce

 

Any intake with metal piping will get hot after a while and you will gain nothing. Volant and K&N FIPK kits come with plastic(don't know what kind of plastic) and they don't transfer the heat as much as the metal.

 

Volant and corsa is good if you get a deal on them both.

I bought my volant for 225 shipped.

 

I’m looking to make an air box for a airaid filter. Any one have measurements for making an air box for on most of them look like sheet metal.

 

for the money Id get an AEM for 240 I noticed a seat of the pants difference and that was the first mod I did. Before it I couldnt even turn a tire after it I could get some small squeels. Plus it looks good people really look at it when they open the hood.

 

where did u get your volant for 225 shipped man? did it come with a filter and everything?
