well if you are not caring what the cost is then go with flexalite. they are good quality.but the ls1 fans are also good fans as well.i have sat in traffic numerous times with no problems.either i think would be a good choice.

You can always just get the VSC controller from Flex-A-Lite which is what makes their kit better over the rest. I think it runs around 60 bucks.
BTW .. I'm running the Flex-A-Lites for the 34" radiator on a small radiator.

get the flex-a-lites. I had them on my obs tahoe and will eventually install a set for my new sierra. I'd think that you'd want the 282's for your truck...kit comes with vsc. I think the fans are quiet but may seem loud to some people since they are not always running like the stock fan.
btw, I got my last set at summit for under $400 as well.
