before and after TBSS INTAKE dyno finally

i bought a brand new 2010 silverado intake with throttle body, injectors, fuel rails, gaskets and bolts, never been bolted to heads, $250 on ebay. wish i would of read a lil more about the throttle body plug in being different, 8 to 6 pin. i would of ordered a xlink wiring harness at the same time, instead of waiting till it came in, bolting it up and not being able to plug it in. cant wait to see what kind of gains i get.

Yes they will, the new 799(243) headed 5.3s have flat top pistons to keep the CR up. IMO I would never go to the trouble to install a set of heads unless they were ported or I was repairing a problem otherwise its just not worth the money for bolts/gaskets and your time.

Will the TBSS intake work with Cathedral port heads? And if they do, would this intake be helpful on say an LQ9 with WCCH StageII 317's and a Trickflow 220/224 .575/.575 112 cam?

From everything Ive read this seems to be a decent upgrade if you can pick the intake up for cheap enough. For us old school cable throttle guys you can get the edelbrock TB I posted the PN for without the sensors(swap your stockers over) for 260. Im going to try and adapt a set of stock fuel rails over to the TBSS intake. If I can do this for under 400 Ill consider it a success if I see the 15/15 gain thats been posted.
I just got my TBSS intake in the mail yesterday so this weekend Im going to start mocking things up, unfortunately it wont be on for atleast 2 more months since Im moving and got a lot of other things to do
