Went to Norris Motorsports in Orlando this weekend, and even in the much warmer weather, I showed a 31hp/11lb-ft gain from the cam! I'll try to get the images on the 'net shortly!

Before: 241 hp/251 lb-ft

After: 272 hp/ 262 lb-ft

Congrats! where did u buy this cam and how does it sound at idle? and do u have computer tunung? thanks alot!

I got the cam from a fellow ls1tech.com member used...but I would suggest checking out our sponsors--I've personally dealt with Thunder Racing and HIGHLY recommend them!

You'll need:
*cam
*TR chromemoly pushrods (stock length)
*Comp 918 valvesprings (or Z06 springs, but I can't see skimping on the valvetrain...I don't want any chance of coilbind!)

The truck idles really well after adjusting the idle screw on the TB just a hair. No tuning yet, but after talking with the guys at Norris and CS Motorsports at the dyno day, I'm looking into getting EDIT. Has anyone ever hit 300rwhp with a 4.8?

Oh, and the idle....you can tell that it has a cam, but it doesn't sound like a T/F dragster either. It's very very streetable, and I almost wish that I'd gone just a tad bigger. I think that Big Tex was talking about getting this same grind on the XE lobes (?) or something to get a bit more lift...you might wanna check around in some of the recent cam posts for more info.
