ati dyno results
#11
Those about the average dyno numbers for a stock motor. I would have thought they would be a little lower than that, being four wheel drive. When I called ATI they said that 360ish was normal for a two wheel drive single cab.
I recently have seen a stock 5.3 with a D-1SC and 18lbs of boost. It was an extended cab and I had a lot of trouble passing him. It recently had a number 2 piston problem and the fuel pressure regulator busted. It did last for about month and half. By the way, it has stock injectors and the FMU is maxed out. He had a fuel pressure gauge on it and it maxed it out by 4500rpm(100psi of fuel pressure).
P.S. GMC SKI I recently sent you a e-mail about your VIN number.

My kit came with that intake. I told Sam about that when I got it. It looks like it's just the same piece from the H2 kits, but it works great on these kits too.

Hey Kyle. Pretty good for no tuning man! I just have stock exhaust manifolds and a single 3" with 18" Dynomax bullet. I still have to get my timing down, as I still see KR when I nail it.
BTW, Kyle is the one who showed me the new intake from ATI, thanks again for that.
Do lotsa reading in the FI and tuning forum, too, and you will start getting some evil ideas

Mine is the Silverado. Be warned that most are Lightnings.

Whenever I get some extra money i'll get those racetronix injectors and hopefully some tuning work. After that i'll work on the exhaust. You're probably pushing the 400 mark! That's my overall goal, but it probably won't stop there. Is the 4L80E transmission (I think that's the heavy duty one) rated for that much power, or is better just to beef up the 4L60E???
I would have to pay probably extra 500-1000 to ship here. They can build strong 4L60E's. I believe the 4L65E comes with the 5 gear planetaries.I think it comes in Escalades, SS, and some of the others, but not sure. I need to grow a money tree.
BTW Kyle, what kinda price did you get quoted for the injectors? Had to be a better price than the RC's
