ASM header install info

what all needs to be done to make them fit the stock y pipe? Is fitment pretty good with them also? I see they fit 4x4's also so thats why im asking...

you cut the flanges off 1/2 to 1/4 inch before the cats. then put them on and take it to a muffler shop. they will weld up some collectors on it. are you buying them new/ if so they should come with all the hardware. if not you will have to order some 2 1/2 collectors. on the pass side header. remove the coil packs and then cut the little bolt just below the dryer that holds on the heatshield. just cut off the excess. after that it will go on easy.

i take you are happy with them also?? I found a used set for a fairly good price im thinking about getting from a friend.. cant wait for these damn pacesetters to come out for 4x4's!

yay i ended up with a set of hooker 2 1/2 collectors for mine. they seem to be working great. yes i love them. i do have to retighten the bolts on the collector every once in a while. but yes they are a nice piece.
