Ive been reading that the stock temp reading comes from the outlet area, but I just figured we would want to adjust our fans accoring to the temp of the coolant coming out of the engine because it would represent the actually cooling needed but I also see how the outlet source would make more steady readings.

to me it is more stable on the outlet side since it will be coming out around the same temp most of the time.n o matter which side you put it on you can adjust the fans to the temp you want with either jumpers or the variable adj on the vsc. no matter which side it is. the inlet side can be spuratic at times.
