Default Another DC-Control user.

I got my 282's installed and wired up with my DCC (dccontrol) unit.

I mounted the DCC unit facing the firewall, under the fender brace, on the fuse box lower housing. The kit comes with plenty of parts, a healthy amount of wire, an enough for the temp probe to reach the other side of my 34" radiator from that location. Wire is 10G high quality large strand copper. I may have been missing a part from my kit (a fuseable link?), so I used the F-a-L 40A fuse. I'll report back about this later.

I have mine set to turn on at 194*F, because I'm running a stock thermostat for now. (the temp is set via jumpers, FYI). Once the preset temp is reached, it takes nothing more than 3-4V output at the terminals, for about five to ten seconds, to cool the motor. I'd estimate the fans are at 25% _at the most_. Probably more like 10%. It's hard to hear the fans in the engine bay, nevermind inside the truck. Very soft turn on.

When the AC comes on, the fans kick on at 50%. You can "notice" them running inside the truck. At my 600rpm idle (no UD pulley), I see a slight tug on the in dash volt-meter. Like one bar. If rmp's are over 1K or so, there is no noticeable drop. I didn't measure the voltage across the output terminals, but dccontrol.com says it's 8V.
